The Denim Midi

July 10, 2024

Hey Curvies!!!

I am so excited to bring you all another round of the “True to Blue” series. This series will featured creative ways to wear and style blue! In this series I styled a super cute blue fitted dress, created a look with a cute blue fitted dress, a super cool look with denim cargos and shades of light blue, and a gorgeous maxi dress. Let’s get into this super stunning denim dress (similar)!

If I am being honest I almost passed on this denim midi dress (similar). I saw it online and on social media but could not picture my body in it. You all know I can always picture myself in clothes before instantly pressing ‘add to cart’. Then all of the haul videos started rolling in and I became intrigued, not quite sold. Curvies, I started to style this dress and went ahead and purchased it. I loveeeeee this dress!

Styling this denim midi dress (similar) was a pleasant surprise. After seeing countless different variations of this dress being styled, I knew my way was bomb! I loved the gold buttons and grabbed these gold tinted sunnies. I then layered gold necklaces, gold rings, and gold earrings. I fell in love with these baby blue sneakers and I found the perfect baby blue beaded bracelets (all accessories). This look is so good and I can not wait to wear it on vacation.

Style Notes ~ I am wearing a size 14 in this denim midi dress (similar), I feel like a size 12 would have fit better on top. In my baby blue sneakers I am wearing a size 8 men’s.
