Denim Showers: Dashikis & Denim

Hey curvies!!!!

This is the first installment of the April series “Denim Showers.” This series will include ways to incorporate denim into your wardrobe for any style preference and budget.


Let me introduce you all to my brother Steve, the dashiki king, because he has a ton of dashikis and they are so cool. My brother gifted me one similar to his and I told him to join me on this post. It was funny yet overwhelming because my whole family came out to see us take pictures. 


I used items from my closet to complete this outfit. I’ve worn these jeans on my blog before and I am still in love with them. The dashiki is very colorful, but I wanted to add a pop of neon with my sandals. The headpiece added a special touch that completed my outfit.


Style Note: My brother and I are wearing the same size in the dashikis, because they are one size fits most.
