Hey Curvies!!!
Happy Birthday to me!!! I woke up THANKFUL. Thinking of my mommy, I can honestly say I’m thankful for the 34 birthdays she blessed me with. Thankful I’m taking my wellness journey serious. This is honestly the best I’ve felt mentally, emotionally, and physically. Thankful to see 35!!!
5 things I’ve learned this past year.
Choose you. I know a lot people want to be picked, but choosing you set the standard of what you’ll receive. Treating yourself kind, taking yourself out, spending time with yourself so that you want accept the bare minimum.
Relax. I have always been a planner. I love knowing what I am doing whether I am kid-free or not. I love waking up knowing what I am doing. However, lately I just want to relax, I love not being confined to plans as of late. Now this “me” may not last but I like it.
Be in the moment. I have somehow mastered getting videos and being present in the moment. I do this by getting my group pics, boomerangs, a few pic shots, early in the evening.
Love on your people. I love telling people I love them, because I enjoy using my words. I don’t care how much if may feel like I do, just say it, if you mean it. Also, if it’s been awhile I’m giving you a front hug and I meant it. lol
Just do it! Whatever it is, just do it. Even if it’s alone. I remember reaching my goal weight and thought I can no longer tell my friends “I don’t fit in the weight requirements.” Chileeeee, who knows what I’ll be doing but I’m doing it!
Style Notes: I am wearing a size XL in this bow dress and the fit is immaculate. I would recommend ordering your true size. My black mules were a size 10.
