Hey Curvies!!!
I’m so excited to continue my Cream and Tan Style Series—a mini series where I’m styling both cream and tan tones in fresh, flattering ways! So far, I’ve shared the perfect tan dress with a denim jacket and a dreamy cream dress. Now, let’s get into this ruffled sheer spring shirt (similar) look that has me feeling all kinds of cute!
I’ve got to be honest—ruffle shirts usually aren’t my thing, but this sheer ruffle sheer spring shirt (similar) totally changed my mind. It’s lightweight, fun, and just the right amount of flirty. I sized down by to sizes and love how it fits perfectly into my jeans without adding bulk.
How to Style a Sheer Spring Shirt with Barrel Jeans:
Originally, I planned to wear this top with regular denim, but when I tried it on with these green barrel jeans (up to size 28), the look instantly came together. The structure of the jeans balances out the softness of the shirt so well.
To finish the look, I grabbed a few accessories from my closet—my yellow platform sandals (similar) and a yellow circle crossbody, styled here as a clutch. The pop of color pulls everything together while keeping it fresh and spring-ready.
Style Notes: Yellow Platform Sandals (similar): Size 10 Wide – Old but gold! I’d recommend a 9 Standard for a better fit. Sheer spring shirt (similar): Size Medium – I sized down for a fitted, tucked look that pairs easily with high-waisted jeans. Green barrel jeans (up to size 28)s: Size 1X – True to size with a structured yet comfortable fit.
