I am so excited to bring you all a brand new series for April “True to Blue”. This series will featured creative ways to wear and style blue! In this series I styled a super cute blue knit set, created a look with a gorgeous blue maxi skirt, a super cool look with denim cargos and shades of light blue. Let’s get into this gorgeous blue maxi skirt!
This blue maxi skirt is phenomenal! I originally ordered this skirt for a beach vacation, this skirt did not arrive in time and it collected dust for months. The weather decided to break in Memphis and I decided to no longer “save” this skirt. I am so happy I decided to wear it now, it is perfect.
Styling this blue maxi skirt was a task because my goal was elevate it from a beachy skirt. I started with a ribbed white crop top and immediately remembered my blue crossbody that has iridescent purple in it. I grabbed my metallic purple platforms (similar) and my lavender cropped jacket (similar). I love this look so much!
Style Notes: I am wearing this skirt in an XXL, I would definitely size down to a XL now. My cropped lavender jacket (similar) is a size XL but a size large would be perfect. My metallic purple platforms (similar) are true to size in a 10.
