How To Daycation In St. Louis

January 23, 2017

Hey curvies!!!

I do not have a Fitness Goals Monday post because I fell and hurt myself last Monday. But I do have a super cool travel post.

This Saturday my mom, sister, brother, and I decided to take a day trip to St. Louis. You guys my family literally had this trip planned out, all I had to do was get in the car (the front seat) and chill. I know daycation’s are not ideal for some, but when you have a family like mine it’s awesome.

So here are my tips for ‘How to Daycation in St. Louis’:

  • Bring comfy sneakers
    • To get the most out of your daycation you need to be on foot, sightsee, and being in sneakers are cool especially if you style them your outfit.
  • Have the places where you want to eat in mind
    • This is soooo important to me, I love trying local food and it helps that I have grown to love Miss Robbie and her family, so Sweetie Pies was a must for lunch. My brother insisted that we have Imo’s Pizza so we stopped there before leaving Sunday to take it home.
  • Sightsee
    • This is a must even with a daycation. The thing is to keep the list of places short, you don’t have a lot of time. So our list consisted of the Gateway Arch (the St. Louis Arch) and Busch Stadium, you guys that is where the St. Louis Cardinals play!!! We also went to the Lumiere Place Casino Saturday night.

Trip Notes: We stayed at the Hampton Inn St. Louis-Downtown (At the Gateway Arch). The Arch is under construction so we could not take a ride. We visted the Sweetie Pie’s Upper Crust location. My outfit was super simple top ~ here, leggings ~ here, cardigan ~ here, shoes ~ here.
