Hey Curvies!!!
I’m so excited to kick off the first style series of the new year, Shades of Love. This annual series is all about creative, confident ways to wear colors traditionally tied to love and this year, I’m leaning all the way in. Think bold reds, soft pinks, and rich chocolate hues that feel equal parts romantic and powerful.
Throughout this series, I’ll be styling a stunning red and pink fringe dress, a super cute chocolate faux leather jacket, and the most gorgeous burgundy and lavender look. First up? This unforgettable red and pink fringe moment.
This dress was truly love at first sight. I was casually scrolling through New Arrivals when it immediately went into my cart. I’ll admit, I got a little nervous when I pulled it out of the packaging. The dress is unlined and features a knitted design, which always feels like a gamble. But once I tried it on? Perfection!
Styling this look was so much fun. I’m grateful to have built a wardrobe full of colorful accessories and shoes because they really brought this outfit to life. I wanted to pull out the bold red tones, so I paired the dress with red block heels for a strong pop of color. The dress also has deeper red hues woven throughout, which made this vintage burgundy handbag. This handbag is over 10 years old and the perfect finishing touch.
Style Notes: I’m wearing a size large in this dress. My red platform sandals are true to size in a 10.
